North Central Florida WIC Program

WIC is a government program that provides nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support and healthy foods for women, infants, and children.

The North Florida WIC program is administered by the University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

WIC Services

WIC provides a variety of nutrition services to women, infants and children in Florida, including nutrition assessment and nutrition education, WIC Food Program and medical referrals, and breastfeeding advocacy and support. Services to participants of the North Central Florida WIC Program are provided by a community of businesses and agencies. These include the supermarket vendors and farmers markets that accept WIC checks, healthcare providers and allied agencies. More
